March 2015: IEEE NTUT Student Branch Announced!

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a leading and professional for the advancement of electrical technology. Its technical ranges are from computer engineering, microwaves, fiber optics and telecommunications, to electric power, aerospace and consumer electronics, biomedical technology and etc. The IEEE is also due to global network of geographical units, Web services, conferences and publications. The IEEE remains the world's largest technical professional association.

 

The IEEE Student Branch at National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT) was established in March 2015. We encourage related students from laboratories, departments and institutes to attend the student branch for them to know the benefits they will receive through joining the student branch to enter IEEE Student Branch at NTUT. Such IEE student branch is firstly established in our university which will attract many college students, graduate students and even students from Ph. D. program in our departments or other related departments. It helps every student to enlarge his world by contacting the new techniques and new equipment. In addition, current student members will be inquired to understand their motives in joining us as well as their expectations for recruiting new members.

 

The IEEE NTUT Student Branch can endeavor to contribute to the advancement of the prosperity of its community through activities that provide professional information exchanges and stimulate technological innovations due to Taiwan's growing importance in the global, green and high technical industry
