About the Alliance
Purpose of Establishment

By establishing new core techniques as the main axis, building an industry-academia cooperation platform through relevant upstream, mid-stream and downstream industries, and systematically outspreading achievements and techniques, we would like to attract more new members to join the alliance.

Taking the 5G optical communication Industry-Academia-Technology Alliance as a technique exchange platform, a complete supply chain will be formed across the upstream, midstream and downstream industries, and the added value of members' products and management service performance will be enhanced.

Backed by the members of the alliance, the research team of the alliance can continuously provide new professional techniques, to achieve the purpose of assisting the members of the alliance to upgrade and cultivate professional practical talents, and further enable the sustainable development of the alliance.
Alliance Operation Instructions

The alliance is made up of the two major engineering departments (institutions) of the four universities. In addition to the Department of Electro-optical Engineering of Taipei University of Technology, the alliance combines the Department of Communication Engineering of Taipei University, the Department of Electro-optical Engineering of Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and the Department of Electro-optical Engineering of Feng Chia University.

Providing optical fiber communication, free space optical communication (FSO), 5G/B5G mobile communication, optical fiber broadband/FSO/5G MMW/B5G Sub-THz, the alliance integrates professional technical consultation and counseling in multiple fields to assist members in industrial upgrading.

The research teams of Alliance are not limited to the Taipei area. It combines National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Feng Chia University, and National Taipei University to connect research teams from all over Taiwan, so that the alliance's technical services and support can be provided to all relevant enterprises in Taiwan, and make enterprises interact with each other. Connecting in series makes the alliance more robust and it can provide more technical services.
